Silverton woman pleads guilty to embezzlement
SALEM, Ore. (AP) - A Silverton woman has been sentenced to four years in prison after acknowledging she embezzled more than $200,000 from her former employer.
Sonya Kyllo pleaded guilty Monday to charges of forgery, aggravated theft and aggravated identity theft before Marion County Circuit Judge Albin Norblad.
The 39-year-old woman was arrested last September and accused of forging checks and cashing them while working as a bookkeeper at Heirloom Roses in St. Paul. She apologized in court to the victims.

I worked at Heirloom Roses as a rose salesperson in 2001. It was a great place to work and the employers were so nice.
What a jerk this woman is to embezzle from them! They employ lots of people and treat them all with respect and kindness. I wonder what losing 200K did to their business? Did they run short of money and have to lay off people? There is such a ripple effect to crimes like these. Meanwhile this woman was probably snorting the money, or eating it or wearing it...while others suffered.
GRRR!!

This young lady was born with a silver spoon in her mouth and given every opportunity in life. Excellent colleges, property, travel... It amazes me, one has no idea what would make her travel down this road. As a young woman she was bright and lovely and because of her wealthy family the world was her oyster. We never know what goes on behind closed doors, something had to have happened to make her snap like this. Sad, very, very, sad...

my heart breaks for your poor choices. I don't know you well but the little that I do know makes me really scratch my head as to why you did this. No sign of drugs or gambling..... I guess maybe we will never know why.
