Landlord left with one big, stinky mess

A home in Keizer has a stench so bad the neighbors say it made them sick. The people who were living there are gone but the mess they left behind will cost tens of thousands of dollars to clean up.

Would be nice to know who this lady is, so we can keep from renting to her. She deserves the life of a bag lady after doing damage like this to a persons rental home.

I was thinking the same thing.

They need to release her name to protect others from renting to her. This woman cant sue for slander/libel and say it was not her as she was the one who signed the rental agreement.

One paragraph gives a nice idea, but since KATU does not carry on the closed-captioning signal to YouTube (YouTube DOES provide closed-captioning you know...), since I am deaf and the video isn't captioned, I cannot understand the rest of the story.

KATU has captioning on their live newscast, which this clip appears to be from, but they don't want to make the investment to carry on that captioning to the web. Thanks KATU!

This house USED to be well cared for - my sons best friend used to live here about 10 years ago before they bought a new place. It was in nice shape then, too bad someone destroyed it like this. I'm sorry for the owners of the house, not all tenants are so disgusting as this one was.

Where was the landlord? If the landlord had any brains, he'd/she'd do an inspection every once in a while to make sure his place isn't trashed.

Not much sympathy for those who take those chances with renters. There are ways to avoid it.

Seems criminal! The tenants obviously have mental health issues and need help! No sane person could tolerate those living conditions.

I also wish KATU would posts the names of all adult tenants so no one rents to them!

I don't like this new style of KATU either. (but as someone hinted above, ha ha, you can't thumb me down for criticizing them now.) They simply spread it out so stories are hard to find, and, I notice they actually have less news now.
